Sales Development Representative/Lead Generation Specialist – Job Description

 

We’re recruiting lead generation experts to join our team at TeamFeePay!


Our Head office is in Catalyst in Belfast and the successful candidates can be based across the UK and Ireland.

 

This is an exciting role and even more so with those who have a passion for grassroots football. The role will entail filling the top of funnel by cleansing and sourcing data using resources and online data and creating a profile of the club and key committee contacts.

Main Responsibilities


Data Acquisition and Cleansing

  • Sourcing and filtering data: Utilize online resources and data platforms to identify potential leads, focusing on grassroots football clubs.
  • Data cleansing: Ensure data accuracy and completeness by verifying contact information and club details.
  • Lead profiling: Create detailed profiles of target clubs, including key committee members and their roles.

Lead Generation and Outreach

  • Omnichannel approach: Employ a multi-channel strategy (e.g., email, phone, social media) to reach out to potential leads.
  • Warm approach: Build rapport by leveraging collected data to personalise outreach and demonstrate knowledge of the club's needs.
  • Lead qualification: Conduct initial conversations to identify potential fit and gather essential information for sales follow-up.
  • Appointment setting: Schedule sales meetings with qualified leads, ensuring a smooth transition to the Regional Football Representative.

Sales Enablement

  • Information gathering: Collect key data points about the club, including its size, budget, and specific requirements.
  • Pre-qualification: Determine if the club is a good fit for TeamFeePay's solutions based on their needs and challenges.
  • Sales handover: Provide the Regional Football Representative with detailed information about the lead, including their profile, pain points, and potential areas of interest

Skills and Experience

  • Connections within grassroot football (preferable and not essential).
  • Proven experience in lead generation or a similar role
  • Proactive and creative in terms of new ideas around lead generation
  • Strong understanding of lead generation techniques and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • IT and computer literate – good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
